Spectrum’s Education Team provides queer-specific cultural fluency workshops throughout the Inland Northwest to educate others on the specific needs and concerns of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. By educating the broader community, we help ensure all spaces are not just safe, but affirming for 2SLGBTQIA+ people.
Our education team focuses on building inclusive language, awareness of contemporary issues, and understanding of the unique needs of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. The members of our facilitation team are highly skilled and represent a range of identities and backgrounds. Our workshop services are a part of Spectrum’s revenue stream and serves the queer community by:
Providing support to organizations in order to improve the quality of services and interactions for their employees and clients.
Compensating the labor of experts within our community for their knowledge.
Generating income to directly support our programs.
In addition to workshops, our consultants will work with you to meet the unique needs of your organization, staff, and clients through coaching and customized training. For more information contact our Director of Community Learning and Liberation, Vanessa at email@example.com.

We want to develop allies and co-conspirators outside our community, and help make spaces safer by building the knowledge and comfort levels of the folks who run them. If you are interested in joining our facilitation team please contact Vanessa at firstname.lastname@example.org.
